About this formula
Draw length is estimated as arm span divided by 2.5, the industry wingspan method, and reported against the AMO/ATA draw-length standard, which defines draw length as the distance from the nock point to the grip pivot point plus 1.75 inches. The estimate is typically within half an inch; the definitive number is a pro-shop draw-board measurement.
