The longer version, in the same plain terms. Bowhunt America participates in affiliate programs with archery and outdoor retailers. When a review or guide links to a retailer and you buy through that link, the retailer pays this site a commission. That commission never changes the price you pay.

It never changes the picks either, and the order of operations is the guarantee: criteria are stated and verdicts are written before retailer links are added to a page. A product that earns a skip-it verdict gets one whether or not an affiliate program exists for it.

Every page that carries affiliate links carries this disclosure near the picks, in body-size text. If you ever find a page where that is not true, it is a bug, and we want to know.

Analytics and privacy

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site. Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect personal information.
